In an effort to bring to life what the Lifestyle is all about in reality...at least for us, we wanted to share a series of short stories based on a small nugget of true events and experiences that we have had or have been shared with us by other close Lifestyle friends over the years. While there is a lot of creative embellishment in these short stories, the essence is true enough to count.

The Night the Music Didn’t Stop
The neon pulse of the concert floor was a living thing, vibrating through the soles of their shoes and humming in the marrow of their bones. Mark squeezed Elena’s hand, shouting over the thunderous bass that he’d be back with drinks. Mistress D - The Lesson
The monthly mixer at The Velvet Lounge was a sea of polished silk, familiar faces and whispered intentions. Mark and Elena moved through the crowd with practiced synchronicity. This was their territory and they felt very much at home in this space.
A they took a break from the dance floor to share a drink; they were intercepted by a woman who looked like she’d stepped off a greeting card. At seventy years old, she wore a soft lavender floral cardigan, a modest tea-length skirt and impossible to miss high heeled leather boots. This was Mistress D, a Leather legend whose reputation for psychological precision was as formidable as her apple pie recipe.
